Blogs are an interesting form of communication; part diary, part essay. The tone one could take with them is limitless. Do you write as if you were a New York fashion journalist, writing to her fans about her tumultuous love life? Do you keep yourself distanced, providing fact and theories rather than feelings?
What do you even blog about?
When I thought of what my first blog would be, I always assumed it'd be something lighthearted, such as a survey of weird birds I managed to take a picture of, or an essay forum where I kept abreast of my research.
We all must start somewhere.
Blogs are but one tool in a person's social media toolbox, and how you go out and use it is up to you and your goals.
